If George W. Bush wins today's election, I would hope that tomorrow all of those individuals between the ages of 18 and 45 who voted for Bush travel to the nearest military recruiting office and enlist into the military branch of service of their choice.
If these voters really believe in Bush and support this Republican war in Iraq, then they have an obligation to not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk.
They should join the military service of their choice and immediately volunteer for service in Iraq. It's the Republican way.
I know that I would feel a lot better about the war in Iraq if Bush's daughters supported their fathers' decision to go to war by volunteering for combat service.
Even though Dick Cheney's daughter is openly gay and may have disqualified herself because of her sexual preferences, I would feel better if someone, anyone, from the Cheney family were to volunteer for combat service in Iraq.
There are many Democrats who have served or who are presently serving in Iraq but do not believe in this Republican war.
These Democrats want to have nothing to do with the mess that Bush has created.
These Democrats joined the service before Bush became president and got caught in a bad situation.
Like many of the Democrats I have spoken to, we support the war against terrorism in Afghanistan.
We support hunting down terrorists in Chechnya, Bosnia, Kosovo, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.
We do not and will not support any war against any country that had nothing to do with Sept. 11, 2001, have no ties to al Qaeda, and have no weapons of mass destruction.

Letter to the Editor - Bush could be hearing Satan
©Beaver County Times Allegheny Times 2004, 07 November 2004, page A6
I agree with the letter writer who stated that every person that supports Bush's war, between the ages of 18-45 should go to their nearest recruiting office and enlist for combat duty in Iraq ("Show your true colors: Enlist," Tuesday).
Every family that supports Bush's policies in the war should urge their husbands, sons and daughters to sign up for immediate combat duty.
This would allow those who are dying there daily to come home.
Because they think Bush is such a great president and is doing such a good job of keeping us secure, let their loved ones go.
The Democrats should not have to continue to fight a war that Bush claimed to be over last May.
Let the Republicans have their war on terrorists.
This war was not ordered by God, even if the president claims he hears from God every so often.
It could be Satan he is hearing from because Satan is the prince of this world.
More than likely that is who it is he is hearing from.
